Pencil drawings

While I started out, as many, with just graphite pencils, I soon learned to love drawing with watercolor pencils. They have a soft quality to them, and aren't as shiny as graphite can sometimes be.

For subjects, I love to use my pencils as a quick way to sketch architecture around me, or to show the liveliness of animals. But my favorite subject by far is the human face, as you can see in the portraits below.
